Zach Szabo
Executive Chef
After graduating from Stratford Culinary Institute in 2010, Chef Zach began his culinary career under the mentorship of Chef Patrick Orange and Chef Michel Richard at two of Washington, D.C.’s premier French restaurants. He continued to refine his skills across the city’s fine dining scene, working at acclaimed establishments including Doi Moi, The Watergate Hotel, Komi, and RPM Italian.
Throughout his time in these kitchens, Zach embraced both leadership and learning, always driven by a passion for sourcing local and unique ingredients that left guests wondering, “What’s next?”
He later brought this experience to Capitol Hill, where he served for several years as Executive Chef at a private club. There, he discovered that America’s leaders are just as passionate about food as they are about politics.
Recently, Chef Zach relocated to Indiana with his wife and their three rescued pit bulls—Cher, Dexter, and Khaleesi. Outside of the kitchen, he enjoys playing basketball, introducing his in-laws to new cuisines, and exploring the outdoors with his dogs.
